The Lotte Hotel in Busan, South Korea
South Korea was a lot of my firsts. My first time on an airplane, my first solo trip, and my first time in Asia. So it only makes sense that it's the home of my first time staying at a 5-star hotel.

The Lotte Hotel Busan is one of luxury. As soon as I pulled up in my taxi I immediately saw the difference between the hotels I stayed at before. Firsts there more attentive, whatever you need there is always someone close by to help. I had a little bit of trouble checking in to my hotel due to the covid regulations but the front desk was very patient with me and even had my things sent up to my room while I waited and offered me a drink and apologized for the long wait. The room was bigger than usual for the hotels in Asia but smaller than what I am used to in the States.

But the room was immaculate and tidy and I knew that everything was spotless trust me I checked. Sometimes when I go to hotels I'm hesitant to take a bath but not this time. Also, did I mention the amenities? The Lotte is attached to a huge duty-free store where you can shop till your little heart is content. They also have 4 restaurants, a bakery, and a bar and lounge. Trust me the atmosphere was divine as the attire was business only. But, my favorite amenities were the warm pool and the hot sauna. I got a chance to enjoy both of these amenities and honestly, they alone would be a reason I would go back. I also enjoyed the snacks in my room from the chocolate-covered almonds to the bottle of Hennessey.
If you are looking for a luxury hotel experience look no further than the Lotte Hotel Busan.
